Steven McBee Jr. defended his “dream wife” document on Facebook after taking heat for detailing his future partner on The McBee Dynasty.

As his mom, Kristi McBee, 52, defended him and accused his ex-girlfriend, Allie Eklund, 29, of being a “paid actress,” Calah Jackson, 33, and Allie recalled their past relationships with Steven, 32, accusing the reality star of poor treatment and “PTSD.”

“… To the backlash I’m receiving regarding the document I made at a ‘Good Husband’ entrepreneurial retreat I went to years ago (by myself and on my own I might add),” Steven wrote on Facebook, via Reddit. “I stand by that document. I don’t want to casually date. I don’t want to waste time with people that don’t live the lifestyle I want to live, that don’t have the same morals and character traits I’m looking for and I try to live myself.”

“It doesn’t make someone a bad person if they don’t have what I’m looking for, it just doesn’t make them for me … So why is it a bad thing if I have that written down and crystal clear for others to see upfront?” he continued. “To me, that’s so much better than leading someone on you KNOW isn’t a fit from the start, or dating around casually causing even more heartbreak and trauma (let’s be honest – relationships hurt).”

After the “dream wife” document was featured on the show amid Steven’s since-ended romance with Allie, Calah commented, “PTSD,” on Instagram, and added that Steven had accused her of being “‘lazy and unmotivated’ for sleeping in until 7am on Saturdays.”

“Oh if the bed was made wrong he would make me fix it. Had to sneak any sweet treats [because] god forbid a girl wants a little snack. Also [season two] I worked full time, filmed the show full time, was in real estate school, and was doing social media on the side and was somehow a gold digger, glad y’all can finally see what I dealt with!!!!!” she went on.

Meanwhile, in her own comment, Allie said, “Girl I knew when he started timing my phone calls with friends after [three] months something was wrong.”

Also on social media, after a clip of Steven chatting with Allie about the seriousness of their relationship was posted on TikTok, Kristi weighed in.

“We all got played by her. Doesn’t everyone see how she knew to act the complete opposite of Calah,” she alleged. “She knew to play me like I was her best friend. We all thought this was real. We didn’t know we literally had a paid actress on the show. She was telling me she wanted to marry him right away. Wow..”
