THE FORRESTER W.A.R ESCALATES: DAPHNE REVEALS THE DEVASTATING TRUTH TO ELECTRA!

As the episode begins, Will is still in the FC showroom pleading with Electra to take him back. Right on cue, she nitpicks that he’s still defending Dylan. For God’s sake, run, Will! Get away from this bratlet! When he asks Electra if they still have a life together, we cut to R.J. ranting and raving to Mommy and Daddy about how Will has to go, how Dylan has to go… “Electra deserves a stress-free life,” he yells. Really?

In the design office, Daphne is distracted from her flashbacks of Ivy’s letter theft by a visit from Carter. Daphne admits that she’s still thinking about Will and Electra and what she should do about their predicament. How is this a moral dilemma? How was it ever? You’re better than this, Daphne — or should be.

Daphne’s Conscience Weighs On Her

After the opening credits, Daphne tells Carter she knows too much about how “Wilectra” were manipulated to hold her tongue. Which she then goes on to do while admiring Electra’s jewelry. Just rip off the band-aid already, Daph!

Though Carter wants to focus on baby-making, his wife continues to go on and about about the unnamed conniver winning at the game she’s playing. “You don’t have to be in the middle,” Carter argues. “Yeah, I could stay on the sidelines,” Daphne huffs. With that, Carter says simply that his missus should stay out of the couple’s relationship.

Side note: If you were Carter, wouldn’t you have had to ask who the manipulator was? Even if you weren’t going to insert yourself in the drama, you’d have to have been curious, right?

R.J. and Ivy Double-Team ‘Bridge’

In the CEO’s office, R.J. goes so far as to say that Will needs to be fired and “go be with his own kid kind.” (Sheesh, he’s made for self-absorbed Electra. Also, thanks to all the readers who noticed I spelled “kind” without the N; fixed it!) Somehow, Ridge defends Will as being good for the company. Good at what, though? Swatch-organizing? Right on cue, Ivy comes in and says she wants Will gone, too.

What’s more, Ivy agrees that Dylan should be shown the door as well. At that, Ridge reminds the Aussie and R.J. that hiring and firing decisions are his and Steffy’s to make. They are in the fashion biz, he adds, not the romance biz. (Man, that’s hilarious coming from the dressmaker who got married in that very office not too long ago!)

A commercial break later, Ivy and R.J. are still at it like mean-spirited Energizer Bunnies. He can’t seem to stop remarking on how lovely and sweet and perfect Electra is even though she wanted a homeless friend kicked out on the street.

Will and Electra Go in Circles

While all this is going on, Will keeps groveling to Electra, who brings up the necklace he never wears anymore. She doesn’t know whether too much has happened for them to try, try again. Take the win, Will; ya dodged a bullet there! Get out while you can!

Despite how many kisses she’s shared with R.J., Electra insists that she loves Will. But she’s not done torturing him yet, and he’s not done being tortured, either. “I’m not giving up on us,” says the glutton for punishment.

Finally, Will and Electra get to the topic of whether he “blew off” his gf. But she still won’t mention the damn letter that requested a showroom rendezvous. Anyone else get the feeling she just enjoys being upset 24/7?

It’s Escargot Time: Daphne’s Ready to Tell All

In the episode’s final moments, R.J. and Ivy continue to play their broken record, arguing that Will and Dylan need to go. In the showroom, Electra tiptoes ever closer to telling Will about the letter. But rather than spit out those two syllables, she sobs that doing this over and over again hurts too much.

After Will leaves, Daphne, who’s been eavesdropping, enters and tells Electra she has to tell her something that could have a big impact on her and Will.
