On The Young and the Restless, March 9, Billy has an important decision to make. He has to save Jack before Patty takes things too far. That is, his professional pursuits don’t get in the way.The Smoking Gun
Billy (Jason Thompson) found out that Jack (Peter Bergman) had been kidnapped. But he has no idea where he is and who he’s with. Patty (Stacy Haiduk, who wants Patty Williams to get a second chance) revealed herself as Jack’s captor.
While the mystery is ongoing, it’s now a high-stakes rescue mission. Billy has to race against time before Patty takes things too far. She’s already asking Jack for a kiss in exchange for a tour of the yacht. But we all know that she wants more than that.
A Dangerous Variable
Patty is taking orders from Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). She will do anything to get Jack in her midst, even if that means locking him down. She’s been obsessed with him for years. So, when she sees an opportunity, she grabs it.
That’s what makes this situation unpredictable. Patty is a “wild card” who currently holds all the leverage. She has him where she wants him. Patty doesn’t care if Jack is in a desperate situation.
She loves that he’ll do whatever she wants. Even if that’s more than a kiss. But the question is, how far will Jack go to get the price of freedom? Even if that means betraying his wife, Diane (Susan Walters). Or, she could be the type of woman who strikes against Jack for never really having him.
The Clock is Ticking
With this information at hand, is Billy smart enough to move fast without Victor knowing? Or will his professional pursuits get in the way of saving Jack’s life? He finally got Chancellor Industries in the palm of his hand.
Now, he might have to make a deal with the Devil, which means losing everything that he’s wanted. Billy will have to focus on his family instead of his ambitions. But will he do it in time? Or will he linger on this idea longer?
