Vandepump Rules alum Tom Sandoval has been back in the headlines the past few days after it was reported he filed for a restraining order against his now ex-girlfriend, Victoria Lee Robinson, and her father, Will.
Soon after, video surfaced that appeared to show Tom having an altercation with Will in which he pushed him into a fire pit.
Now, an insider has revealed to TMZ what led to the fight between Will and Tom.
According to the source the outlet spoke with, the video of Tom pushing Will was taken out of context.
“It captures only a fraction of an incident that followed months of physical and psychological abuse by Victoria and her father,” they alleged.
They also noted Tom “never physically harmed” Victoria and also never got physical with Will prior to that evening that was captured in the released video clip.
“The reality is that he endured repeated abuse before finally reaching his breaking point,” they added. “He also has extensive video evidence documenting what he experienced, and that evidence will be presented in court.”
The explanation comes fresh on the heels of news that police ended up being called to Tom’s house a second time on Saturday, just hours after they initially visited the property.
According to law enforcement sources who spoke to TMZ, LAPD officers ended up going to Tom’s house at approximately 5:30 PM on Saturday. Victoria told the police she had a friend there to pick up some of her belongings and that Tom wouldn’t let them.
Officers came to keep things peaceful and did not make any arrests.
Insiders noted Tom believed Victoria was going to come back to the house, but those close to Victoria said she sent a mover named Miguel instead.
Miguel also spoke with the outlet, saying he called Victoria on speakerphone because she was going to meet him at the house. Tom reportedly overheard Victoria say she was on her way, and Miguel alleged he got visibly distressed and called 911 as he was afraid they were going to come into the house and get arrested.
As Reality Blurb previously reported, video from earlier on Saturday surfaced that showed Victoria screaming at Tom.
“I f*cking hate you,” Victoria yelled at Tom in the clip, as he placed a small guitar in his backseat.
In the footage, which was obtained by TMZ, Victoria also claimed that, just like “all of your ex-girlfriends, nobody likes you.”
