Here is your The Young and the Restless recap for Tuesday, March 10, 2026 featuring Jack pleading with Patty to provide answers, the latest on the search for Matt Clark, and the Abbotts finding a clue about Jack’s location.
What happened on The Young and the Restless

Lauren dropped by Phyllis’ office, but she thought it looked like a bad time. Phyllis insisted she take a seat, so she could discuss her previous job offer. Lauren said there was a lot to consider, but Phyllis thought it should’ve been an easy decision.
Phyllis reminded Lauren of how she took Fenmore’s to the top of the industry, and she could do that again with Newman Enterprises. They could work together to become titans of industry. Lauren wanted to speak to Michael about it first, and although they briefly discussed it, he hadn’t heard any details.
Lauren was apprehensive about accepting because of Michael and Victor’s lengthy, complicated history. She was worried that Michael would have a visceral reaction to the news, which is why she wanted to deliver it face-to-face.
Lauren didn’t want to feel rushed. She asked if Phyllis expected her to make an overnight decision, but she did. Phyllis wondered how long she’d need to wait until Michael returned to town to learn about Lauren’s new job. However, Lauren hadn’t accepted anything yet, and she wanted to have an actual discussion with Michael.
Lauren also had concerns about how her new position would impact her friendship with Nikki. She was honest with Phyllis that working with her would absolutely have negative implications.
Lauren picked up on the fact that something was bothering Phyllis, but before the latter could say anything, Victor called. Her presence was requested at the ranch. Phyllis tried to rush Lauren out of the office, but she refused to leave until she was forthcoming about who called her. Phyllis still brushed off Lauren’s request.

Diane cried at Society after realizing that Victor was not bluffing about Jack’s abduction. Jack was unconscious in the photo, and despite Billy trying to calm her down, Diane was adamant that someone had drugged him.
Kyle wondered what their next move was, and Billy wanted to send the photo to Phyllis as proof that nobody was bluffing. This was as real as it gets. Phyllis hadn’t responded to any of Billy’s texts, and he didn’t think she was concerned.
Diane questioned how Phyllis couldn’t have been moved by Billy’s plea regarding Jack. However, when Billy didn’t respond, she asked if he had changed his mind about handing over Chancellor in exchange for Jack’s safety. Billy was offended by the insinuation that he cared about Chancellor more than his own brother.
Billy told the duo that his hands were tied if he couldn’t reach her. Diane begged Billy to do whatever he could to get Phyllis to comply, including hunting her down and appealing to her in person. Diane said she understood how long Billy had been clamoring for control of Chancellor, and she felt like Billy struggled to let it go.
Billy assured everyone that Jack’s safe return was the only thing that mattered. This was a war against Victor, and as much as he didn’t want to, Billy knew he needed to hand over the company. Phyllis’ pride also served as a potential roadblock in getting what they want. She’s lost everything in her life, and Newman Enterprises was all she had left.
Diane thought that Phyllis’ desire to get more was actually a way to swing things in her direction. Getting her to tap into her humanity wasn’t ever going to work. Kyle suggested they dangle something in front of her that would appeal to her need for power. Ultimately, they got a lead on Jack’s whereabouts, with all signs pointing to a marina about an hour from Genoa City.

On the yacht, Jack asked Patty what she meant about not being the one in charge. She confessed that she’d never risk going back to the psychiatric hospital by kidnapping him. Patty believed that doing so would erase all of the work she put in to become rehabilitated.
Patty told Jack to enjoy the drinks on the yacht and get to know the new and improved version of her. Jack was interested in how the two of them ended up together, but Patty didn’t care. She urged him to sit back and relax, so he could enjoy the ride.
Jack assumed he was in Lake Michigan, but that was the only detail she could provide. Patty claimed to have been contacted anonymously with the information that Jack would be on board. She was offered a significant sum of money to make an appearance, the kind of cash that she could never turn down.
The mystery figure offered her the money to watch over Jack. Patty hoped to use the time together to make things right. Jack wanted to let go of all the tension and find a way to cooperate. Patty wanted to make amends, but Jack explained that there was no guarantee an apology would lead to forgiveness.
Jack and Patty had a long, twisted history, and it typically ended in bloodshed. Patty implored Jack to open his heart to her because she wasn’t the same person she used to be. Jack asked why Patty accepted the offer if she was seriously committed to a better future. What exactly was she offered?
Jack pleaded with Patty to divulge who he was up against. Patty said it was obviously someone who knew details of their past, which led Jack to one conclusion: it was Victor Newman.
Jack again asked Patty to let him out of the room, so he could assess the situation. Patty wondered what was in it for her, and she wanted a kiss. Jack accepted the deal, but Patty only agreed to it if the kiss came first. Patty denied having any knowledge that Victor was behind his abduction.
Patty promised to give Jack a tour of the yacht, but only if he kissed her as he meant it. Before long, the two were passionately kissing, but it was clear Jack only did so to secure his freedom.

Nikki returned home to the ranch and saw Phyllis leaving. Victor evaded the question as per usual, but he believed things were looking up. Nikki asked if there were any new developments, and Victor assured her that they were in negotiations.
Nikki was shocked that Phyllis showed any interest in making a deal with Victor. Victor explained that Phyllis was offering to return Chancellor after learning of the consequences. Nikki needed more information because, as far as she knew, it had already been signed over to Billy.
Victor insisted that Phyllis changed her mind about gifting Chancellor to Billy. Nikki thought something felt off about Phyllis’s sudden change of heart. She asked whether this was somehow connected to Victor’s new plan, but he told her to be satisfied that they’re getting Chancellor back.
Phyllis stormed into the ranch, and Nikki asked what prompted her attitude change. Phyllis responded, “Victor. Don’t tell me Nikki doesn’t know?”

Sharon wanted details about Nick’s visit to Los Angeles. Nick didn’t think there was anything to Matt’s text about missing him in LA. Sharon was surprised Nick considered the idea of Matt returning there to begin with. However, the trip was allegedly a dead end.
Sharon figured there was more to the story and asked Nick for the full unadulterated truth. Nick denied withholding everything from Sharon, but she knew him well enough to know when he was lying. There was no need for Nick to travel to LA just to get an update on Matt.
Sharon believed she had a right to know the truth. Nick said Matt never showed up for an alleged meeting, and Sharon was happy he didn’t get hurt. His family would’ve stopped him from taking such a drastic measure if they knew. The amount of money that Nick offered Matt wasn’t enough to draw him out of hiding.
Nick was ready to fly back to Los Angeles immediately to give his plan another shot. There was nothing or no one who would get him to change his mind. Sharon told Nick that she didn’t approve of his plan, but he was unmoved. Nick insisted that it was happening regardless of what she wanted.
Noah and Sienna dropped by Crimson Lights, and Sienna revealed she’d taken steps to eliminate the threat that Matt posed. Sienna wanted to go on the offensive and turn Matt into the hunted. She and Noah refused to sit back and become prey for that monster.
Sienna revealed that she dug deeper into Matt’s drug connections, and she came to a startling conclusion. There was someone even bigger pulling the strings, and she not only narrowed it down to Las Vegas, but she got a name. It was Reza, and Sharon immediately wondered if it was connected to the same woman from Adam’s time in Vegas.
