Coronation Street star Antony Cotton has shared his devastation after a heartbreaking personal loss. The Sean Tully actor revealed on Instagram that his friend Callum, who was a soldier, had died, posting a picture of the two together.
“I hope youâre at peace now Callum,” the soap star wrote. “We are all absolutely devastated. You were a great pal and a great soldier. We will miss you Callum â the blokes loved you. We all did.
“Rest easy mate. You were one of the very best. Iâm sorry we couldnât save you.”
Responding in the comments, one person wrote: “Hi Antony. Iâm Callumâs uncle and godfather. Thank you for the kind words. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten.”
