Austen Kroll took a stroll “down memory lane” with Summer House‘s Carl Radke when he visited him at his new business, Soft Bar + Café. The Southern Charm cast member recently took a trip to NYC, where he caught up and supported his “buddy,” Carl.
Austen took to his Instagram Story during the week of Sept. 29, while on vacation in New York City, where he documented much of his trip. The Trop Hop founder made a stop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, to visit Soft Bar + Café, Carl’s non-alcoholic-centered business that serves soft cocktails and coffee beverages.
Austen first snapped a photo of the exterior, complete with a dark green painted brick façade and big, glass doors and windows. “Had to come support my buddy [Carl Radke’s] new endeavor [Soft Bar + Café] during my stay in BK [Brooklyn]!” he wrote over the photo. “A healthy mix of checking in and strolling down memory lane was had.”
Both friends go way back, as they both dated Summer House’s Lindsay Hubbard at different times in their lives. Austen and Carl met up more recently in August 2024, where they snapped a photo together. Almost one year later, they took another photo together, this time in Carl’s new business, with Austen flashing a peace sign for the camera.

Austen is also diving into the non-alcoholic space. Austen spoke with The Daily Dish at DIRECTV’s Plot Twist – Featuring Bravo event in NYC on Aug. 12, where he revealed that he is now launching a THC-seltzer with Trop Hop.
“I’ll just say it: I’m coming out with a THC seltzer,” he said. “Very soon, in fact. I just inked a deal with a THC brand. Look, I know that there are other people, and everyone’s got all sorts of products — tequila brands and seltzers, and spritzes, and beers — [but] the space is wide enough for everyone. And I’m very excited.”
