“Pop Pop deserved better…” Big Brother fans devastated as ‘most lovable player ever’ Will is brutally evicted after heartbreaking challenge fail and painful injury leaves him limping out of the house

BIG Brother fans are in tears over the ‘most likable player’ in the show’s history, Will, being sent home in a ‘painful’ eviction.

The fan-favorite was voted out after failing the physically grueling Blockbuster Challenge, which appeared to take a toll on the contestant as he limped out with a knee brace.

On Thursday’s episode, challenge beast Keanu Soto, strategist Ashley Hollis, and fan-favorite Clifton ‘Will’ Williams were on the chopping block to become the second member of the jury.

The blockbuster challenge for this week was one of the show’s signature games, Feeling Knotty.

Each player was tied around the waist to a rope that was wrapped and twisted around a cage.

The Houseguests had to climb and maneuver their way through the twisted setup in order to free themselves with enough rope tied to the structure so they could run and hit the buzzer.

All three players tried their best to take the lead, but it was Keanu, who has been a huge physical threat all season, who began to pull away from the competition.

At one point in the challenge, Will thought he had enough rope to make it to his podium to hit the buzzer, but he was far short.

Seconds later, Keanu attempted to race to the buzzer and successfully got enough rope slack to make it to the podium.

He appeared relieved after having won another challenge – while Ashley was visibly disappointed, and Will dropped to the floor in fatigue, frustration, and perhaps even pain.

When the trio returned from the competition, Will appeared to be in pain as he limped back into the Big Brother living room with a knee brace on as he rejoined the remaining contestants.

It’s unclear if Will had an injury with his knee prior to the challenge, and the physicality of it made it worse, or hurt himself during the challenge, but he was grimacing in pain when he returned to the house.

With Keanu successfully taking himself off the chopping block, the remaining season 27 Houseguests were forced to choose between close allies Will and Ashley to be evicted.

Keanu was first to vote and chose Will, while Ava was next and cast her eviction slip to Ashley.

Next up, Morgan was given the difficult task of choosing between two of her closest allies and went for Will.

Kelley, not being aligned with either player, had gone with Ashley, while Vince, who was also close to both of the chopping block contestants, went for Will.

In a vote of 3-2, Will was unfortunately the person who was sent home.

The Big Brother contestant will be the second member of the jury following show alum Rachel Reilly’s extremely controversial surprise elimination this week.

His exit was extremely emotional – as both Will and the remainder of the players broke down in tears, saying ‘goodbye’ to the lovable father figure.

Fans were devastated that this season’s turn of events led us to have to say goodbye to Will – who became beloved for his sense of humor, his care for his allies, and handling the “mess” and drama from the ladies viewers lovingly referred to as his “daughters.”

“Will was without a doubt one of the most delightful people we got to watch this season, and I’m sad to see him go. Don’t forget that this all stems back from the White Locust Resort,” one person wrote.

“Thank you Will. Thank you for all that you did to entertain us this season. Thank you for your authenticity, cam talks, and just being a great human. You probably don’t leave tonight if White Locust doesn’t happen but that’s for another post,” another fired off.

“Pop Pop is genuinely one of the best male castings ever. I will always have an appreciation for the standard he set. I will always have respect for the man that he is. Thank you for representing with such grace, love & genuine heart, Captain Will,” a third cried.

“Will is going up there in the best older houseguests rafters! Unproblematic, minded his business, clocked tea, protected our gworls. 10/10, highly recommend, no notes,” a fourth insisted.

However, one more viewer had a silver lining spin to it, tweeting: “Will gets to spend 18 days in a mansion with Rachel and has a London trip with his Chocolate Drop to look forward to, and he’s universally loved this season, he’s a winner in different ways, ty Captain Will.”

Big Brother airs on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 pm EST on CBS – with live feeds airing 24/7 on Paramount+ and PlutoTV.
