Bravo’s shadiest weekend of the year is officially upon us, and Brittany Cartwright did not hold back when talking to Decider about her currently (nonexistent) relationship with her former boss, Lisa Vanderpump.
Cartwright first started working for Vanderpump as a waitress at SUR in Season 5 of Vanderpump Rules. She remained on the show through Season 8, before she and her then-husband Jax Taylor confirmed their departure.
While Vanderpump Rules continued without them for three seasons, Bravo announced earlier this year that Season 12 would feature an entirely new cast. With Vanderpump hosting an early screening of the upcoming Season 12 premiere episode at BravoCon this weekend, Cartwright shared why she likely won’t be attending the panel.
“I mean, I wish them nothing but the best, but Lisa has not invited me to anything,” she told Decider in the press room earlier today. “She hasn’t checked on me since my divorce, since my son’s autism diagnosis, since anything. So I haven’t heard from her in ages.”
Cartwright—who currently stars in the Vanderpump Rules spinoff, The Valley—filed for divorce from Taylor in 2024, and shared earlier this year that their son, Cruz, 4, was diagnosed with autism. According to Cartwright, she never heard from Vanderpump after either highly-publicized life event.

“I have no bad feelings. She likes who is bringing her money at the time. And that’s not currently me,” Cartwright said. “I don’t know, I just figured whenever me and Jax got divorced, I would at least hear something from her, so that’s kind of upsetting.”
Still, Cartwright shared that she’s “always looked up” to the restauranteur.
“I’ve always looked up to her, thought she was an amazing person, loved everything we did, and really worked with her and her charity, and really tried to help,” she said. “But I haven’t heard anything from her in four years. Cruz is four years old. She’s never once [reached out].”
