What’s next on The Young and the Restless

The wait is over as the much-anticipated return of Shemar Moore and his character, Malcolm Winters, is now here! On Tuesday’s show, Malcolm is returning to town.
The character made an immediate impact on the show in 1994 when he debuted as Neil Winters’ (the late, great Kristoff St. John) half-brother. There was tension between the two, but they made peace, and Neil welcomed his estranged sibling into his family.
Malcolm became a photographer at Jabot and began a new life. One night when Neil was away on a business trip, Malcolm visited his sister-in-law, Drucilla (Victoria Winters), who was zonked out on cold medicine.
Dru thought her husband had come home, and she invited him into their bed. Malcolm believed that Dru thought that he was Malcolm and wanted him to make love to her. Malcolm and Dru had sex. Later, Dru discovered that she was pregnant with Lily (Christel Khalil).
Initially, Dru wanted to have a paternity test so she could have peace of mind. However, her sister, Dr. Olivia Hastings (Tonya Lee Williams), pointed something out to the anxious mother. If the test results came back that Neil was the dad, then Dru would have peace of mind.
However If Dru learned Malcolm was the father, she’d have to live with that. Dru chose another option, deciding not to know who the father was. That secret remained buried for years, but came out later when Lily was a teen.
Malcolm was revealed to be Lily’s biological father. Fortunately, this did not do irreparable damage to either Malcolm’s relationship with Neil or Lily’s relationship with Neil, whom she still considered to be her dad, as he had raised her.
Tragically, Dru was presumed dead after falling off a cliff while struggling with Phyllis (Michelle Stafford). Years later, Neil died.
Malcolm has returned to Genoa City a few times over the years, mostly to pay tribute to Neil. What’s bringing him back this time? Could it be another paternity issue?
The doctor is in

Malcolm had many love interests over the years, and one of them was Dr. Stephanie Simmons, played by Vivica A. Fox. Stephanie’s tenure in Genoa City was over 30 years ago, and her romance with Malcolm was relatively brief.
However, it may not be a coincidence that Stephanie and Malcolm are returning to Genoa City together. Could there be a secret from their past that is causing them to revisit where it all began for them?
It is possible that Malcolm doesn’t know Stephanie is coming back to town, as her return is described as a “surprise.” Tune in to see what’s going to happen!
