Coronation Street star Vicky Myers has been seen teasing fans as they flooded her with messages over her latest milestone on the cobbles as DS Lisa Connor-Swain.
The actress has been playing one of fans’ most beloved characters since she was introduced to viewers of the ITV soap back in 2021. The detective sergeant was first seen when she led the police investigation into the assaults on Nina Lucas and Seb Franklin, which led to the latter’s death.
She was then seen dealing with a number of other crimes and incidents on the eventful street, but it wasn’t until early 2024 that fans started to see more of Lisa, rather than just DS Swain, as Vicky was officially announced as a regular on the cobbles.
It came during her investigation into the disappearance of Lauren Bolton, and despite her best friend, Roy Cropper, being accused of the teen’s murder, Lisa grew closer to Carla Connor. Their romance later blossomed, which is how Swarla was born, and after a turbulent period for the couple, they were seen tying the knot at the end of last month.
Fans will recall that there were emotional scenes as Lisa and Carla delivered their vows to one another, before they were confirmed as wives, making them the first two women to tie the knot in the 65-year history of Corrie.
But weeks on from the history-making event, Vicky has been seen celebrating her own milestone as fans were quick to remind her it had been five years since her character’s first appearance on-screen.

Vicky has since been sharing her thanks in response to the individual messages but also took a chance to tease fans about one specific detail about her character which they are yet to discover – her birthday. When @bevthescamp1 responded: “‘got some trauma’ maybe an understatement! Let’s aim for a birthday in the next 5 years,” to a look back over Lisa’s journey on the cobbles to date, Vicky replied: “Maybe,” with a smiley face emoji.
