As Real Housewives of New York City alum Bethenny Frankelâs feud with Lexi Iannou gained a lot of traction online, Luann de Lesseps and a makeup artist slammed Bethenny online.
Lexi, whose mom Dina Manzo was an OG on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, had sent Bethenny a pair of shoes from her brand Nou as a gift. Rather than link to Nou, Bethenny posted the shoes and linked to a dupe in an attempt to get a commission from sales of the shoe.
Lexi ended up taking to her Instagram page to call Bethenny out as a âweirdo,â and she shared the details of the situation.
In response to the ordeal, Luann, who has had her share of issues with Bethenny, posted a tongue-in-cheek comment on Instagram.
âMoney canât buy you class,â she wrote.
Lexi responded, quoting Luannâs famous song: âElegance is learned, my friends.â

Lauren Urasek, a makeup artist, also put her two cents in.
âI used to do her makeup, all the time,â she wrote. âShe treated me like âthe help,â never addressed me by my name, screamed at me and her 3 assistants.â

âShe was a nightmare,â she added.
After Lexiâs initial post, Bethenny took to TikTok to fire off a response.
âI donât usually respond to things like this, but I think thereâs a business lesson here,â Bethenny stated. âI wore a pair of shoes yesterday. I did a fit check with them. It was in the queue for later, and in the moment, my team took a picture of me at an event, and the shoes were sold out, so they linked something similar because the audience gets frustrated when they canât buy something immediately.â
She then questioned why she would wear something and talk about it if her audience couldnât buy it.
âWe do this all the time,â she continued. âMagazines do this all the time.â
While Bethenny didnât call out Lexi by name, she addressed her, noting that âthis female owner decided to post a scathing video of me. Her body, her choice. I have stated multiple times: you send me something, I have no obligation to link, like, use, wear, eye, tag â I can do whatever I want.â
âThe business lesson is that there are other lovely things on this personâs site, and there are about a hundred brands that will watch this video that will message her to tell her how much product I move,â she added. âHow many sprinkle cookies for Melissa Gorga, how many dresses for Ramy Brook, how many pairs of jeans for Guess, okay? I move a lot of product because I donât bullsh*t.â
Bethenny also claimed Lexi was âplaying the short game,â âwhining,â and âbeing a crybabyâ since this did not go her way, which Bethenny felt meant Lexi is ânot a real business personâ and has âa lot to learn.â
âI would have worn all of the shoes on your site, and you would have sold thousands of pairs and made hundreds of thousands of dollars,â Bethenny concluded. âSo, my account, my body, my choice. Once you send those shoes into my house, my shoes. Youâre welcome.â
