Patty’s Still in the Picture

The week starts with things going from bad to worse for Diane (Susan Walters) and Jack (Peter Bergman). While Diane is thrilled to have her freedom, having escaped from Dr. Markham’s (Jere Burns) home, she will be shocked to discover Jack, having been stabbed by Patty (Stacy Haiduk)! His life will be hanging in the balance!
Clearly, Patty took the “if I can’t have him, no one can” approach to Jack. While Jack tried to stay a step ahead of Patty, he let his guard down long enough for her to attack him. He may have to pay for that error with his life!
Patty’s not done with Jack just because she slid a knife into him. Watch for Patty to force Jack to keep a secret. What kind of leverage might she have on him to get him to do anything?
Jack’s going to get some good news this week. His sister, Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), is going to come for a visit. She should boost his spirits!
Medical Plan

Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) survived her surgery, but she’s not out of the woods yet. This week, watch for Victor (Eric Braeden) to make an unexpected decision about Nikki’s medical care. Has the mogul decided it’s time for Nikki to come back home?
One thing’s for certain, she wouldn’t need her eyesight to get around that place. She’s lived there for a few years now. Also, the home is mostly a replica of the original ranch, where Nikki spent many, many years. However, this newer home has its entry on the opposite side of the home.
By the end of the week, watch for Nikki to struggle with her new condition. Will she be able to deal with not being able to see? Ironically, Victor had another wife, Hope Adams (Signy Coleman), who was also blind.
Billy and Jill Went Up a Hill

Watch for Billy (Jason Thompson) to question Jill’s (Lauren Koslow) intentions this week. The Abbott heir just can’t let go of the belief that his mother doesn’t have confidence in him. But is that truly the case? Jill loves her son, and she also cares for her surrogate son, Cane (Billy Flynn). As the week progresses, watch for Jill to push her son with the late John Abbott (Jerry Douglas) to resolve his issues. Can she get Billy to get along with Cane before she leaves Genoa City?
