BIG Brother has paid tribute to Season 27 houseguest, Mickey Lee, in a touching way during the new season premiere.
Mickey suddenly died in late December from complications of the flu, just months after her eviction from the show.
The CBS series honored the late star in the Season 28 premiere on Thursday, which introduced the 17 new cast members entering the Big Brother house.
At the start of the episode, a smiling photo of Mickey, 35, making a heart shape with her hands appeared on the screen.
“In Loving Memory of Mickey Lee (1990-2025)” was displayed alongside the photo.
Mickey suffered a series of cardiac arrests before succumbing to her illness on Christmas Day.

Her family announced the devastating news in a statement on Instagram, days after revealing that she had been rushed to the hospital and was in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
Mickey’s loved ones asked for prayers and donations in a GoFundMe they created to help with the star’s mounting medical bills.
The fundraiser amassed over $43,000 in donations toward its $45,000 goal.
Shortly after her death, fans were stunned when a resurfaced live feed clip revealed that Mickey’s co-star, Ava Pearl, predicted her passing during a palm reading.
Mickey and Season 27 winner Ashley Hollis were seen laughing about Ava’s bone-chilling reading, in which she said that Mickey had a “short lifeline.”
Ashley later said that she attempted to reach out to Mickey via text to make amends after butting heads in the house.
She didn’t share whether or how Mickey responded.
Mickey was the eighth evicted houseguest and the first to be eliminated who didn’t make the coveted jury last season.
She admitted to host Julie Chen Moonves that she “had a feeling” she was going home because of a vibe she got from her housemates.
Season 28 kicked off with a bang after two mystery players were revealed, sending the cast into instant chaos.
Big Brother alum Angela Murray was the first unexpected houseguest to make her grand entrance.
Angela competed on Season 25 of the long-running series and was known for stirring up trouble among her cast.
Survivor fan favorite Rick Devens was also revealed to have officially joined the group.

Rachel dominated Seasons 12 and 13 and competed in the last season.
The episode ended on a cliffhanger, with host Julie teasing that there was one more surprise underway.
This season will be the show’s longest ever, with new episodes airing on Sundays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and also streaming on Paramount+ through October 1.
