Craig Conover Opens Up About Paige DeSorbo Split in Shocking New Update: “I Was Betrayed”

Southern Charm’s Craig Conover is getting candid about the emotional fallout after Summer House alum Paige DeSorbo ended their three-year relationship.

In a fist look at the Southern Charm Season 11 premiere, the Charleston-based entrepreneur opens up about Paige calling quits on their coupledom after Madison LeCroy points out an art easel on Craig’s porch. Craig calls it “a remnant of a past chapter,” explaining it belonged to Paige before things ended in late 2024.

“I was betrayed by the person I trusted most in this entire world,” Craig emotionally tells producers in his confessional. “I mean, we had our whole future planned.”

The episode then flashes back to the former couple making plans, which included a future engagement they hoped would last two years. (After the breakup, Craig said he’d already picked out the perfect engagement ring, too.)

Back in his one-on-one with Madison, Craig admits, “it’s been a journey” since the two went their separate ways. “I will say that I’ve hit a level of sadness that’s not depression-based; it’s more, like, bummer-based,” he says. “Because I never did anything to deserve becoming the villain in her story, but she needs a villain.”

Still, Madison says she’s “proud” of how well he seems to be handling the breakup, offering more details when later speaking in a confessional of her own.

“I feel bad for the guy, I mean, I know that he, in his mind, believed that she was his wife,” Madison says. “I do think that he’s so hurt that he can’t even explain what he’s feeling.”

Details on Craig Conover’s dating life after his split from Paige DeSorbo

Elsewhere in the Season 11 sneak peek, Craig and Madison touch on Craig’s brief relationship with social media influencer Natalie Buffett. The two apparently met six years earlier during a trip to The Bahamas and reconnected after Craig’s breakup, around the same time reports surfaced that Paige was dating someone new.

“I had seen my ex move on and I didn’t know what to do. I was just lonely, and I didn’t know how to be by myself,” Craig explains. “And I think that’s why I rushed into the first person I talked to. Like, I didn’t talk to anyone else. It was just her.”

“It was just [that] she made me feel whole again, and it’s unfair to her,” he adds. “But then, once I felt whole again, I was like, ‘Oh, I have more healing [to do].”

Ultimately, though, Craig is still holding out hope for the future. As he puts it, “A lot of people say you have three true loves. I had my first one with Naomie [Olindo], and then [a] second one with Paige, so I’m just kind of holding on to that.”

A timeline of Craig Conover and Paige DeSorbo’s relationship

The former couple met in February 2021 when filming the debut season of Winter House. Despite Paige living in New York and Craig living in South Carolina, they managed to make it work for three years, appearing back and forth on each other’s respective shows as they navigated their ups and downs. Together, they traveled the globe, collaborated on Craig’s Sewing Down South decorative pillow brand, and headed to Vermont to film Winter House’s sophomore season.
