The following article contains spoilers from the episode of Coronation Street dated July 2. It hasn’t aired on ITV1 yet, but can be viewed on ITVX and YouTube.
Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) is hours away from finding out her fate in Coronation Street.
The evil woman has been in court all week after sexually abusing Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale).
A couple of days ago, things took a very worrying turn in the trial, as Will fell apart after being questioned. He made the mistake of making eye contact with Megan, and then claimed that he had made everything up about them being in a relationship.
Will hugely panicked about sending Megan to prison, and told everyone that he had lied. The trial ended for the day, with the Driscolls learning that the judge would decide whether it would actually continue or not.
Ben Driscoll (Aaron McCusker) was then questioned, but got thrown out a while later after losing his temper.

Once Will learnt about what happened, he headed to Tim Metcalfe’s (Joe Duttine) for some advice. He felt awful that his actions had caused such chaos, and wanted to try and fix the situation.
Will was back in court today feeling a lot more confident. He knew he had lied under oath, and hoped that his comments about Megan and how she abused him would be enough to convince the jury that he really hasn’t wasted everyone’s time.
The closing statements were delivered, which means the jury will return to court soon to share their verdict.
As the Driscolls pondered over the past couple of days, Will headed out for a run.

He was stopped by Megan, who had an awful lot to say about his comments in the trial.
She seemed adamant that the jury would find her not guilty, and that she would soon be released. Megan warned Will that when this happens, he needs to ‘watch his back’.
But is Megan right?
Is she going to get away with abusing Will?
Or will the jury believe him?
