There’s chaos brewing on Coronation Street next week as Megan makes a shocking move that could see her leave Weatherfield for good, and take Will with her.

Kit arrives at the Rovers with bombshell news for Ben, Eva and Maggie: the CPS has dropped the case against Megan due to lack of evidence. While the family are left stunned, Megan wastes no time in taking advantage of her sudden freedom. Meeting up with Will, she shares the news and reveals she’s already booked their tickets to Paris.

Will is thrilled by the idea of starting over somewhere new and even presents Megan with a guidebook, clearly excited for what lies ahead. But while he sees it as a fresh start, others can see the situation for what it is: Megan tightening her control and preparing to disappear before anyone can stop her.

Back at the Rovers, tensions reach breaking point. Ollie is furious with Ben for not doing more to protect Will, and the atmosphere quickly turns heated. Maggie, increasingly worried about how far things could go, urges Eva to step in and confront Megan before Ben makes a decision he’ll regret forever.

Refusing to give up, Eva decides to take a huge risk. After speaking with Leanne, she searches Will’s room and makes a chilling discovery: a burner phone with just one contact number saved. Convinced this could be the key to exposing Megan, Eva sends a message pretending to be Will, arranging a secret meeting and hoping Megan will take the bait.

What follows is explosive. Eva, Leanne and Toyah head out to meet Megan and waste no time confronting her. Accusations fly over the burner phone and her manipulative behaviour, and the situation quickly spirals into a physical scuffle. In the chaos, Megan is left collapsed on the pavement as the women flee the scene, shaken but determined.

However, Eva has one more trick up her sleeve. Back at the pub, she reveals to Leanne and Toyah that she managed to plant a tracking device in Megan’s bag during the confrontation, giving them a crucial advantage as the situation continues to unfold.

Elsewhere, the drama intensifies when Maggie comes face-to-face with Will’s mum, Melanie, in the bistro. Furious and emotional, Melanie blames Maggie for allowing Will to fall into such a dangerous situation, accusing her of failing to protect him. She reveals that Ollie was the one who contacted her, prompting her urgent return.

When Maggie brings Melanie back to the Rovers, everything threatens to boil over once again. With emotions running high and loyalties pushed to the limit, the race is on to stop Megan before it’s too late.

But as Megan’s grip on Will tightens and her plan to flee edges closer to reality, a darker question begins to loom over Weatherfield. With a mystery murder set to rock the street next week, suspicion is already building.

Could Megan’s dramatic exit take a deadly turn? And if so, will she be the one who gets away, or the one who doesn’t make it out at all?
