Amanda Batula is closing out the summer with a bang… or “bangs” to be more precise.
Less than two weeks before autumn’s arrival, the Summer House cast member decided there was no better time to update her look. So, she headed to her go-to salon, IGK in SoHo, for a dramatic — and stunning — hair refresh. Amanda showed off the transformation in a September 13 Instagram video, confirming she finally took the leap and got bangs.

“Giving me the fall bangs of my dreams,” she captioned a clip of lead stylist Liz Rim putting the finishing touches on her chop. “No im so obsessed.”
Same, Amanda. Same. The wispy bangs were modern, chic, and much more versatile than the blunt bangs style that grew in popularity over the past year.
“The bangs in question,” Amanda captioned a subsequent close-up shot.

It appeared the New Jersey native stuck to her signature light brown hair color and its mid-back length.
Since joining the Bravo-verse in 2017, Amanda has kept her haircuts relatively consistent, as she typically opts for a trim. In 2020, however, Amanda switched things up by getting a blonde balayage, a significantly lighter color than what she had rocked in previous years. The color was very on trend for the time, and was reminiscent of the icy blonde look Amanda donned in Summer House Season 2.

Days before debuting her new bangs, Amanda returned to TikTok to share her minor fashion problem. The swimwear designer told fans she really “wanted to be a loafers girl so badly,” but couldn’t figure out how to style them.
“They’re so chic, they’re so classic,” she said about the footwear. “They’re giving effortless cool girl, uncle, grandpa — all the things that I’m obsessed with.”
Amanda explained she had ordered two pairs of loafers from Yves Saint Laurent, but wasn’t “feeling” the style once she tried the shoes on. After returning the loafers, Amanda received an email from the retailer explaining why they couldn’t accept one of the pairs. Why? Well, the company claimed the shoes in question had signs of wear. Amanda insisted she never wore the loafers out and, in fact, only tried on one of the shoes.
Paige DeSorbo offers fashion advice to Amanda Batula
“So, now I am the proud owner of a pair of YSL loafers that I do not know how to style,” she continued. “So, I need help because I do not want these shoes to sit in my closet… They’re so cute. I just can’t figure out how to style them.”
Amanda’s good friend and Summer House alum Paige DeSorbo hopped in the comments section to offer some advice.
“What are you literally saying,” Paige wrote. “You own all the best baggy jeans put them on now.”
