Dorit Kemsley is being accused of using one of her children to try to get spring break money from her estranged husband, Paul “PK” Kemsley, amid their messy divorce battle.
Following the release of a court document in which their income and expenses were detailed, and after allegations of extortion, the 49-year-old Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has seemingly been caught manipulating her 10-year-old daughter, Phoenix.
According to a May 11 report from TMZ, PK claims Dorit has involved their two children, who also include 12-year-old son Jagger, in “financial disputes.”
“While I was attempting to address financial issues with [Dorit], she enlisted our [kid] to send text messages to me requesting money for [Dorit’s] personal expenses, including a trip she wanted to take with the children,” he wrote in court documents, also submitting an alleged text message exchange from April between him and Phoenix.
“Daddy, do you want us to have a fun spring break?” she asked.
“Yes, puppy of course. But because I know you’re super smart before you try and outsmart your daddy, just bear in mind, the creator is always smarter than the creation,” PK replied.
“Yeah, that really helps with the fun spring break,” Phoenix wrote back.
Then, as he questioned why Phoenix had asked, she replied, “Forget it,” before adding, “Why can’t you just book us a holiday? Mommy pays for everything.”
“How do you know who pays for everything my love?” PK wondered, proceeding to ask Phoenix if she’d like to go on vacation with him.
“I would love to go on a holiday with you but for spring break I wanna go with Mommy. I already went to Palm Springs with you. It’s [Mommy’s turn]. Can you just pay and book us a flight?” Phoenix continued.
“Lol I don’t know where you want to go, so I wouldn’t know what to book,” PK explained, noting, “Baby girl [it] is 1030, you need to go to sleep.”
“Ok, goodnight,” she responded.
As RHOBH fans may have heard, PK is trying to prove to the court that Dorit has been spending recklessly on luxury goods amid their split, all while ignoring the mortgage on their $6.5 million home, which is nearing foreclosure.
As a result, PK is hoping the court will allow him to put the home on the market.
