RHOM Star Lisa Hochstein and Ex Jody Glidden Allegedly Hid Recording Device in Her Ex-Husband’s Car, Per Arrest Warrant

New details are emerging in the criminal case against Lisa Hochstein and her ex-boyfriend Jody Glidden.

According to a March 17 arrest warrant obtained by PEOPLE, The Real Housewives of Miami star, 43, and Glidden, 52, who are each facing a felony charge, allegedly placed a recording device in her ex-husband Leonard “Lenny” Hochstein’s car amid their divorce proceedings in 2023.

The warrant alleges that on March 10, 2023, Lenny loaned his new silver Mercedes Benz GLS 600 Maybach to Lisa after she requested to borrow it, allegedly claiming “that she was thinking of buying one” for herself. She returned the vehicle two days later, and on March 31, 2023, Lenny “noticed a suspicious device in the driver seat floorboard,” which was ultimately identified as a “hidden recorder.”

“It was covered in tape which, upon learning the nature of the device, the victim suspected was used to secure it under the seat and out of view,” per the warrant.

Lenny then alerted his lawyer, and they hired experts who were able to recover several recordings off the device. The warrant claims that “one of the last recordings from before the vehicle was returned to the victim depicts Lisa Hochstein and Glidden holding a discussion and the distinct sound of a device such as the hidden recorder being wrestled into place.”

At one point, Lisa, who has been released on her own recognizance and entered a plea of not guilty, can be heard saying, “Done.” The device later captured Lenny’s conversations with and about Lisa, their kids, his plastic surgery practice, finances and a construction project, according to the arrest warrant.

Lenny told authorities that he confronted Lisa about the recordings and confirmed he did not consent to being recorded. He turned the device over to detectives, who allegedly recovered deleted material from the device, including a tape of Lisa and Glidden “engaged in intimate activities” and other conversations between them, according to the warrant.

Upon further investigation, per the warrant, it was discovered that Glidden purchased “two devices of the exact same make and model” on Amazon three months prior.

“Your Affiant has reason to believe and does believe that Lisa Hochstein and Jody Glidden, working together, installed the hidden recorded device without the victim’s knowledge or consent and secretly recorded conversations between the victim and numerous persons and parties, including patients of the victim,” the warrant concludes.

On Wednesday, April 15, Lisa’s attorney Jayne Weintraub confirmed to PEOPLE that Lisa surrendered to police. At 11:47 a.m. local time, the reality star was booked into the Miami-Dade County Corrections and Rehabilitation Department on one count of interception of wire, oral or electronic communications, and was given a $5,000 bond.

Glidden was arrested days earlier, on April 12, on the same charge. He was released after posting a $5,000 bond and later entered a not guilty plea, waived his personal appearance at his upcoming arraignment and requested a jury trial.

In a statement on April 15, Weintraub told PEOPLE: “This matter is part of a contentious divorce proceeding and does not belong in criminal court.”

The initial filing was submitted on March 19 by the Miami-Dade State Attorney and listed Lisa and Glidden as co-defendants. Records indicate that their charges were transferred to a new case number on March 20.

Lenny filed for divorce from Lisa in May 2022 after 13 years of marriage. During the contentious proceedings, Lisa alleged she was being “financially strangled” by Lenny. His then-girlfriend Katharina Mazepa also filed a restraining order against Lisa, though it was later dismissed.

They officially finalized the divorce in November 2024. Lenny was ordered to pay Lisa $15,000 per month in child support for their two kids — son Logan, 10, and daughter Elle, 6 — and $10,000 per month for Elle once Logan turns 18.

In February 2023, shortly after announcing her separation, Lisa confirmed her relationship with Glidden. In January 2026, she sparked speculation that they had broken up when she shared a video documenting her move after a “hectic” few months and liked comments about “new beginnings.”
