There was another sickening twist on Coronation Street on Friday, as groomer Megan Walsh’s past was revealed.
The ITV soap is currently tackling a grooming storyline that has seen predator Megan having an inappropriate relationship with her teen student Will Driscoll. This began when he was underage, before they slept together when he turned 16.
Megan is now pregnant, while she’s embarked on a romance with Daniel Osbourne to cover her tracks. But it seems Megan has another victim, someone who was identified on Friday.
Will bumped into another teen called Lee, who the athlete has been racing against in the past. In a disturbing twist, Lee caught up with Megan and revealed they too had had an inappropriate relationship.

Judging by what he said, it seems they slept together and that this happened when Lee was underage. He’d said to Megan he was “16 now” as if he wasn’t when she last saw him.
He also told Will that he’d “had a thing” with Megan a year ago, meaning he could well have been 15 if not 14 at the time of the inappropriate relationship. Lee had admitted to Will that he came back not just for the race, but to see Megan.
Prior to this chat, we’d seen him secretly meet a nervous Megan. She was annoyed to see him and refused to talk to him in front of anyone else.
When they spoke down the ginnel, she made it clear they were “over” and said what they had was “very special”. Stroking his face, she told him that he had to move on, and that she had found someone new – Daniel.

It’s clear Lee has been contacting her, and Megan has been avoiding him for a long while. Lee was keen to still meet up in secret like before, and it’s then that he made the age comment.
He told Megan: “I thought you liked me,” as she refused to see him anymore. He then chatted to Will about it, and admitted to him that he had slept with Megan a while ago.
Lee said he thought their ‘romance’ was serious, but that she was using him. Will didn’t believe him, but Lee made it clear he was telling the truth and that they had had sex a year earlier.
So this confirms Megan has other students she has groomed, and their could be more. But will Will believe Lee, and could this lead to Megan’s downfall? After all, fellow teen Sam Blakeman had overheard everything.
