🚨 THE REIGN OF TER*ROR ENDS: CORONATION STREET LOSED ANOTHER ICONIC VILLAIN IN SH0CK EXIT PLOT 💣

Another Coronation Street villain is reportedly set to leave the show in a dramatic exit plot. Megan Walsh (played by Beth Nixon) has been a part of a major storyline after being charged with grooming Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale).

Megan was apprehended after Will bravely gives a statement to the police confirming the abuse he’d endured, and in Tuesday’s Corrie (19 May) episode, it was confirmed that the teacher had been released on bail.

However, The Sun reports that Nixon will be bowing out of the ITV soap later this year in a dramatic storyline. ITV has not yet confirmed Nixon’s exit.

Corrie’s cast and crew have been spotted filming court scenes, suggesting that Megan will be on trial for her crimes in the coming weeks, with producer Kate Brooks revealing to Digital Spy that Megan will not “get off scot-free”. However, as Will begins to process what happened to him, Megan makes a surprise appearance and slips a note with her number into his pocket, possibly to get back into his life.

Elsewhere, Megan’s ex, Daniel Osbourne, is dealing with a concerning social media post following the fallout from her arrest.

After staying in his apartment rather than taking a holiday to the Lake District, Daniel begins to bond with Jodie Ramsay, and Tuesday’s (19 May) episode shows the two in Roy’s café when Nina shows Daniel a post from an account called ‘Truthteller’.

In the post, it claims that Daniel knew about Megan and Will’s relationship, which he denies, and even accuses him of grooming Summer Spellman, referencing Max Turner’s false allegations in 2021.

However, while Daniel is desperate to find out who is behind the ‘Truthteller’ account, he doesn’t realise that they are standing right under his nose, as Jodie is later revealed to be behind it. But it seems like things are going to get much worse for Daniel later on down the line…
