If the street you live on is currently full of police officers due to a murder investigation taking place, it definitely isn’t a good idea to go and get yourself arrested for another crime.
Unfortunately, that’s exactly what Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) does in upcoming episodes of Coronation Street.
Since Theo Silverton’s (James Cartwright) murder, DS Lisa Connor-Swain (Vicky Myers) and DC Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) have both been incredibly determined to find the culprit, but they cannot help but feel as though they’re taking one step forward and two steps back.
Currently in the spotlight is Summer Spellman (Harriet Bibby), who made a massive mistake by creating a journal that discusses how much she hated Theo.
In the visiting room soon, Summer tells Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) that it feels like her only option is to plead guilt to manslaughter.

Back in Weatherfield, Todd asks Lisa if he can have his phone back from the police, but her response leaves Todd totally floored.
It becomes apparent that Todd’s phone has ended up at a pawn shop. It’s discovered, and Lisa orders it to be sent to Forensics.
Once the inspection is complete, Lisa arrives and arrests Brody on suspicion of theft. Sally and Tim Metcalfe (Sally Dynevor and Joe Duttine) discover that Brody’s fingerprints were found all over Todd’s phone, and watch as he’s taken to Lisa’s car.
As Kit grows concerned, can Brody explain himself?

Or is he going to find himself in the frame for Theo’s murder as well?
Revealing when we will discover who killed Theo, producer of the show Kate Brooks previously said: ‘It’s later in the summer. We reveal to the audience who it is during late June, July.
‘There’s lots of people you definitely think it could be. It’s a massive story, there’s so many different twists, and there’s so many different offshoots to the story as well’, she revealed.
‘You think you’re watching one thing, and then it diverts into a completely new kind of story territory. It’ll definitely keep people guessing.’
