Coronation Street fans ‘rumble’ Jodie Ramsey’s real Weatherfield connection and it’s not Shona Platt
She revealed herself to be the long-lost sister of Shona Platt but some Corrie fans are having doubts about her identity

Coronation Street fans think they have rumbled Jodie Ramsey’s ‘real connection’ to Weatherfield amid her latest claim she’s in witness protection.
It was only in January that the new character first appeared in the ITV soap, revealing herself to be the long-lost sister of Shona Platt. She was first seen during Corrie’s epic crossover with Emmerdale, having been tied up in the back of a van being driven by Emmerdale returnee Graham Foster.
But it didn’t take long for her, after seeing Shona with her husband, David Platt, in the hospital following a major car accident, to ruffle feathers for her sibling and her family, with it seeming like she wants to replace Shona in her life with David, who invited her to stay at No.8 with them and the kids.

And it was during the latest visit to the cobbles on Tuesday (February 24) that more details seemingly emerged about Jodie’s past. She was seen being followed before the girl was revealed to be Olivia, someone she used to look after.
Uncomfortable with her arrival, Jodie made up a story about being in witness protection after witnessing a murder and made it clear to Olivia that she couldn’t tell anyone, especially her mum and dad, where she was.
But as if that wasn’t enough, later, Jodie was revealed as the one behind a picture of Bernie Winter and her husband Dev Alahan being defaced, with Bernie blaming her obsessive admirer Mal Roper for the move following his earlier outburst towards her at the cafe.
Jodie was seen adding the cut-out of Bernie’s face to her collection of trinkets, which fans previously suggested could be a trophy box, which also now includes Brian Packham’s book, which she stole after his run-in with Lily Platt.

But Corrie fans have been left confused as to where the storyline with Jodie is going, despite knowing she is among the five potential victims of a murder set to rock the cobbles in April, and have wondered if her connection to Shona is even real at all.
